May be an old Italian lullaby. This the only part of the song in clear English. My family descent is Italian, Scottish and Irish. An wondering if anyone may know the title of this song do I can further such it. Thank you!

Chububba NEW
by: Shelley

My mother sang this to me as a child, but I have no idea of its origins. The Italian word bambino is the only clue, but the other words don't sound like any language I know:

Chububba Chububba chuwowow and julala kookle agoombah,
Chububba chububba chuwowow my bambio go to sleep
When the stars are in the sky ready to say goodnight
Can't you see your dolly's sleepy too?
Close your little baby eyes, mumma will hold you tight,
While she sings a lullaby to you,
Chububba Chububba chuwowow and julala kookle agoombah,
Chububba Chububba chuwowow my bambino go to sleep.

My mum sang something very close to this - all the stars are in the sky ready to say goodnight. Can’t you see your baby’s sleeping too. I’ve been trying to remember the rest but I think it had the Swahili word "lalasalama" in it and my family has connections to South Africa so I thought it was from there.
