This is what my parents sang to me in the 50’s.
Cowboys don’t cry when they go to bed at night.

Champ butler is certainly the artist. I found a picture of the album, and it is certainly the one.

Now if I can just find the actual words! I found a you tube of the album, but it hasn’t got every cut. So close.
