Grandfather's Clock

by Edna
(Oregon)

Not the one that is about the clock that stopped when the grandfather dies by Henry Clay Work. This song was more of a lullaby.

My grandmother sang it as a good night song to me and I want to sing it now to my grandson, but remember so few of the words, but I do remember the tune. My grandmother would tick tock, tick tock, tick tock me to sleep at the end.

Lyric pieces I remember: Grandfather's clock.......backwards and forwards......These are the hands and they tell night from day, time for work and time for play, tick tock, tick tock, tick tick tock.
