Not only that, Kevin Roth recorded that song in 1992 when he started creating the children’s record, Lullabies For Little Dreamers. The lyrics changed depending on the gender of the singer. Let’s not forget Sherri Huffman, she recorded that song as well as Tom Chapin, Nick Lachey and Sherry Goffin Kondor. Kevin Roth’s lyrics went "Sleep my love, and peace attend thee all though the night. Guardian angel God will send thee all through the night. Soft the drowsy hours are creeping, hills and valleys in slumber sleeping. Love alone his watch is keeping all through the night."
