Look at teddy he's so tired, he's been playing very hard. little teddy need's his sleep but bears arent good at counting sheep. so i'll tell you what to do, close you'r eyes and he will to. dont you peak cause he'll see you, so close you'r eyes and he will too. close your eyes, close your eyes, close your eyes and he will. close your eyes, close your eyes, close your eyes and he will too. i use to sing this song to my daughters who are now 24 and 20. I now sing it to my 2 grand-daughters who are 2 and 6.

I sang this song to my twins many times a day when they were born and older. I changed little bear to little babies ! My daughter is expecting her 1st baby. I sent this CD to her and she couldn't believe I changed the words ! 😂 Bless her ! I pray she sings whatever version she wants to her baby boy !

If I was sad cuz my mom left for a trip. I Would call her and She would sing this song to me over the phone or if I couldnt go to sleep she would rub my back and sing til' I fell asleep

My mother used to sing this to me when I was little. I'm 25 now and when I'm sick or having a really hard time she will still occasionally sing this to me. I one day hope to have kids of my own and sing this to them.

When I was a child my mom would sing this song to me every night. Now that I'm 26 and my cousins have had children my mom sings this to their children.

My mom would sing me thing song all growing up before I went to bed. It was the only thing that made it easier to get through the hard times. Once she got remarried, and that tradition kind of faded away, My oldest sister, 12 at the time, would sneak into my bedroom before I fell asleep, tickle my back and sing me "The Teddy Song". I am now 21 Years old, living on my own, and when I can't sleep or I get home sick, I sing it, and it makes me feel at home. XOXO

This was my grandson's song when he was a baby. He would be so sleepy and fighting it. We would play that song for him and he would try to sing it. Before long he would be asleep.

My mother in law sent me this tape cassette when my daughter was born 25 years ago. It came with a goose lamp. The body of the lamp was the cassette player and the bottom of its beak was a night light. There were various other songs on it and the woman's voice was very soothing. I had it for my second child, too. Of course, I learned all the words to sing it to them.

I, too, sang this to my children. Lullaby for Teddy. I had a sweet CD - Child's Gift of Lullabyes - that had this and many other wonderful lullabyes on it. Highly recommend it.

Does anyone remember who was the person that sang this song and how we can obtain it. I do not remember the name of the lullaby or other songs on that tape and would love to find it. My mother used to sing it to me and I can only remember the close your eyes part and that a teddy was involved.

i sang this song to my 3 kids ... and now i sing it to my granddaughter ... and one more granddaughter is coming in april ... i am teaching my daughter the song :)
