The Wheels on the Bus is an easy to sing, classic lullaby. The lullaby book version that we are most familiar with is illustrated by Sylvie Kantorovitz Wickstrom and published by Crown.
“Before he could talk, my son would ask for this book by making a circle with his little hands and humming. This book was given to us as a gift and although I was never crazy about the song, it grew on me over time as I saw how much my son loved it.
These illustrations are full of opportunities to use baby signs (baby, wheels, duck, dog, rain) and gestures that go with the song (windshield wiper motions, honking the horn, move on back, shhhh, baby crying etc.).
